Gesaffelstein & The Weeknd Reunite On New Single ‘Lost In The Fire’

This is the third time we get to witness Gesaffelstein & The Weeknd team up on a track. ‘Lost In The Fire’ is the most recent collaborative track released by these two artist. Abel took us all by surprise with the release of his EP, ‘My Dear Melancholy. That EP featured the tracks ‘‘Hurt You’ & ‘I Was Never There’, those were the tracks we got to see these two artists team up together. Already knowing what kind of scorchers they’ve created, we all go into this track with very high expectations.

This song hold the mantle for the year, kick starting competition on the airwaves this tune is a heavy hitter. The beat put forth has a ton of rhythm and abstract sounds that create a spooky sound. Even though the song is fast paced, it still holds a haunting aura to it. The weekends vocals go perfectly over this, but when he displays the high pitch vocal work, it reverts to the haunting sound we’ve grown to love. With lyrics that are easy to relate to and a vibe anyone can move to, this song was hit right out of the park.

The video to this tune makes it so much better, but my biggest take away is, what will Abel do next?
