Montréal-based singer and hip-hop artist Zach Zoya makes his grand return in 2022 with his infectious new single ‘Strangers In The House‘ featuring fellow Montréal artist Soran.
Known for his wide artistic range, the Rouyn-Noranda native continues to flaunt his versatility with this latest release. Keeping it mellow, Zoya focuses on capturing the essence of a moment over a warm drum and bassline. Alongside the single release is the official lyric visualizer – directed by Guillaume Landry. Filmed in Soran’s home where Zoya found himself spending much time during the pandemic, the ‘Strangers In The House’ video shows both Soran and Zoya as they chill out and exhibits the creative process of this earthy collab.
“Strangers In The House is a great example of what happens behind the scenes,” says Zoya in a statement. “Soran and I have been making music every other day since the start of the pandemic and his house has become a sort of music sanctuary. It’s where we gather to chill, make music and collaborate with other artists. I always try to find new creative pockets to explore and to push myself artistically and Soran’s flair for moods and melodies bring structure and colour to my penmanship.”
The Canadian rapper’s latest musical offering follows his recent #PepsiHalfTimeShow cover performance of Kendrick Lamar’s “LOVE” through his partnership with NFL Canada as well as his well-deserved title of “YouTube Trending Artist on The Rise” last month. Bursting into the year with his latest accolades, upcoming Québec tour with Charlotte Cardin and new single- Zach Zoya is poised to have an explosive 2022 year – be sure to keep up.
