Nike Zoom Rookie Gets A Modernized Look From The Past

In 2012 we saw Nike release a package highlighting an out of this world experience. Known as the ‘Galaxy’ colorway, Nike relaunches it’s way back to infinity. The sneaker that will be dressed in this colorway is the modernized basketball favorite, the Zoom Rookie. With the NBA being as exciting as ever and Nike athletes being as influential as we’ve ever seen, the brand has not failed in providing us with creative trends.

Starting from the outsole you will notice a glacier blue gum rubber grounding the sneaker. The midsole is an extension of the outsole, but the mudguard is where you will notice the stratospheric patter of the ‘Galaxy’ color way. The rest of the upper is composed of a black suede accent holding the ‘Swoosh’, which is embroidered on top of the toe box. The tongue carries a Velcro Nike badge that resembles the NASA logo, with a tag that says “Remove Before Flight”. There is a red tag on the heel reading the same warning.

These sneakers will be releasing on February 22, 2019, purchases will be available at your local sneaker shops. The shoe does not hold a price tag yet, however you can rest assured it will be very LIMITED!
