Dave East & Styles P Team Up On New Album ‘Beloved’
Dave East & Styles P finally released their tag team album ‘Beloved‘. The two New York rappers got together and just checked the whole rap game with hard beats, scary lyricism and gut bursting bars. This project was very highly anticipated by any fan of the East coast Hip-Hop, Dave East reassures us not to sleep on him and Styles P reminds us of his greatness. This whole album has 13 tracks and has an appropriate 4 features in Dyce Payne, Jazzy, Tish hyman & finally the one we were praying for, The Lox.
Styles P cemented his name along with Jadakiss & Sheek Louch when they were together as The Lox. Every feature did their job brilliantly on this album, but ‘Load My Gun’ featuring The Lox was something euphoric. Hearing Styles with Jada and Sheek took me back through memory lane, but the most impressive part was how well Dave East sounded with this legendary group. Styles and Dave really created something revolutionary with this album, by putting different timelines of Hip-Hop they created one of the best albums on 2018. This album was one of the hardest albums of the decade, with songs like ‘Shout Out My Hood’ & ‘Don’t Cross Me’ you will hear real subjects that Hip-Hop has been missing. New York get’s shout out’s from beginning to end on this album, this is another master piece for New York’s Hip-Hop catalog of 2018.
This was a very easy album to listen to, I got more and more excited for the next song after every track. As soon as the album finished I automatically restarted it with no hesitation. It took multiple listens but my Top 5 Tracks were finally decided.
TOP 5:
- Load My Gun
- Beloved
- Cut From A Different Cloth
- Rare Breed
- Exotic Shit
Take a listen to this album it will surely be one of your favorites of 2018, Vintage in it’s sound and their power of hits without a pool of features they hit this out the park like the Bronx Bombers.
