Don Jayy Gets The Year Started With New Single and Video ‘Picasso Flow’
Following his earlier releases such as ‘Taboo’ (produced by Chimchilla Beats) and his rookie mixtape ‘Jack of All Trades’ – Canadian based, Sacramento-born rap artist Don Jayy makes his official music video debut with his new single ‘Picasso Flow.’
Produced by Shaheed, ‘Picasso Flow’ highlights the classical sound that was also utilized on his Summer 2019 release ‘Taboo’ – this time layering the sounds of piano, guitar and the violin with Don Jayy’s poetic bars. The music video, directed by MOVISION Studios – shows Don Jayy isolated in a dark room, where he can be seen writing lyrics on the wall. Other scenes show the rapper spitting bars in a parking lot and smoking.
Currently based in Canada, the South Sacramento native balances his music career with this football career, as he’s also a running back for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. Balancing the two has provided Don Jayy with inspiration for his music, as his rookie mixtape ‘Jack of All Trades’ focused on growing up in Sacramento and balancing his music and football careers. With ‘Picasso Flow’ as his 2020 debut, we’re anticipating a great year for Don Jayy as he hints at new music for this coming summer.
