Pretty Flacko is back with another future classic, and the accompanying video is unique to say the least.
“Gunz N Butter” is the latest single from A$AP Rocky’s 2018 full-length masterpiece “TESTING,” which incorporates much of the ‘crash test dummy’ visual theme imagined by Rocky at the dawn of this album’s announcement.
This track contains some classic Rocky sounds, a dash of Houston ‘swang’ influence that really produces a sense of nostalgia, as well as a Juicy J feature and some Three 6 Mafia samples that are a no-brainer ingredient to throw in the formula.
Environmental conflict, mass production, consumerism, religion and gun violence are just some of the issues touched upon in the video. James Mackel was the lead director for this project.
There’s definitely some shocking moments, as well as some comedic parts and is certainly aided by some of those abstract visuals and quirky additions that we’ve come to expect from a Rocky video.
