Calvin Harris Drops New Track With Sam Smith ‘Promises’

Calvin Harris uses Sam Smith for the vocals on his new track ‘Promises‘. Combining their talents together the singer & producer create a dance floor scorcher. This track starts off with Sam singing and a very faded melody, but the tune quickly picks up into a groovy beat. My favorite part of the track is the girl’s vocal cuts laughing and saying ‘Tonight’, adding that to the beat gives the song a very natural feeling and blends with Sam’s vocals beautifully. Calvin really out did himself on the production and cements why he is one of the top music producers in the world.

I especially like how this song isn’t a “1,2,3 JUMP!’ type beat, What do you think?
