Canadian hip-hop artist Skip Waiters has recently teamed up with rapper Westside Boogie for his latest heater, ‘The Function.’
Inspired by the classic summer cookout, ‘The Function’ boasts production by Dart and Grammy-nominated producer Lord Quest. In the music video, the Toronto-native takes us through a lavish mansion while flexing his style and flashy grills. “I think it’s safe to say we’ve got one of the bops of the summer,” shared Skip to his Instagram while celebrating his recent cover for Spotify Canada’s Fresh Finds playlist. “Don’t forget to save me a plate at the cookout.”
Skip’s been on a roll so far in 2024 with his latest string of singles including ‘LAST WORDS’ and ‘8:00AM.’ Earlier this year, he also linked up with fellow Toronto-based artist Faiza for their collaboration, ‘ON MY WAY.’ With all of Skip’s recent drops, it’s clear he’s hungrier than ever so be sure to add Skip Waiters to your rap radar because ‘The Function’ is just a taste of what he’s got cooking.
