Puma Announces Self Lacing Sneaker

Puma Fit Intelligence

As sneakers progressively evolve in terms of comfort, performance and design, the creative potential of a sneaker is beyond measure. Attempting to push our standards and expectations of what to put on our feet, Puma released the first glance of their new self-lacing sneaker. Dubbed Fit Intelligence, this sneaker is set to be released in 2020.

The shoe has a micromotor where the tab on the tongue is, and the sneaker can be adjusted with a swipe through your phone or through a smart watch. The name was derived from how the sneaker will be able to adapt to specific foot shape, giving you a precise amount of comfort during physical activities. Customized for performance, the sneaker is comprised of a mesh upper keeping the shoe as light as possible. Through this silhouette, the sneaker looks very clean and appealing. A charcoal toned upper, with silver accents on the tongue and slight blue kissed silver on the first edition really bring out the aesthetic of this sneaker. A clean black midsole and outsole allow the sneaker to stay grounded with a clean look.
