Following the release of his solo debut album, ‘Layover’ – BTS’ V has returned with his new single and music video titled, ‘FRI(END)S.’
His latest solo single marks his first new music release since being enlisted alongside his other bandmates for their mandatory military service in South Korea. For the last couple of weeks, V teased his latest single with a series of video previews and concept photos all in B&W and pink to match the FRI(END)S cover artwork.
The single, written entirely in English – is a pop-R&B influence track which celebrates love and relationships as seen in the music video. “We are excited to announce the release of BTS member V’s digital single, FRI(END)S,” BIGHIT Music shared in a recent press statement announcing the new song. “FRI(END)S is a love song in the Pop Soul R&B genre.” With this latest release and his Layover album, we’re amped to see what else V may have in store for his future new music.
