Staying true to your origins is often a recipe for success, especially when the beginning stages of a band’s journey came with critical acclaim and praise from different parts of the world. This can be said for Scotland-bred synth pop/indie rock group CHVRCHES, easily recognised via full and ambient-sounding synth chords and Lauren Mayberry’s ethereal vocal style.
Evidence of this can be found in the track for their latest music video “Graffiti“. The song has an emphatic bass line, multiple layers of synth, and an incredibly catchy chorus, as expected from Mayberry.
The video features 2 children playing and embracing their curious nature in a barnyard scene, accompanied by some killer visual effects from the team at Green Glow Films.
