Mazyn Put’s Out His Singles ‘Re-Up’ & ‘Billing Bridge Freestyle’ A Week Apart
Formerly known as Capé the young Ottawa lyricist stayed quiet since the beginning of the pandemic. Using all this time to create music and grow creatively, adding a vision to his arsenal he reminds us why we were attracted to his music. Returning as Mazyn he released his first track ‘Re-Up’ where he doesn’t shy away from flexing his muscles and bullying the beat.
Mazyn not only started rebranding his name, but also started his own collective and record label. The Egyptian native started Bloooom, where not only his content is released but you see him work with other creators. Effeness produced the first track ‘Re-Up’ & the visuals were shot by Ben Telford a notable videographer based in Ottawa.
Effeness is part of the Bloom collective, the producer duo teamed up with the fourth member of Bloom, D-Nar. The three engineers laid down the sound of Mazyns second single ‘Billing Bridge Freestyle’. Bringing back a rugged sound that takes you to the golden age of Hip-Hop.
With the two tracks releases the 4 man army has shaken up the sound barrier and started turning heads in Ontario. All work & no sleep in their craft is the reason they shouldn’t be slept on.
