‘Myself’ by Kiana Lede

Kiana Lede Releases Breakthrough 6 Track EP ‘Myself’

We can finally say we’ve seen a full project from Kiana Lede in 2019. The aspiring artist released her latest EP ‘Myself’ and it is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Catching different vibes from RnB to HipHop and even a pinch of POP this album has it all. Expanding past your imagination and exceeding all expectations, this project was a very bold statement from the talented singer. The project consists of 6 tracks and holds two features in Offset & Jennifer Lewis.

Starting off this project is a track we are all familiar with, ‘Can I’. Singing in a wavy flow, with clean vocals in between this song is a great track to keep on repeat to help your mind wander. ‘Shawty’ starts off with a lucid beat and holds powerful lyrics from Kiana that touch on relationship persepectives. ‘Bouncin’ is where we hear Kiana sing in a choppy flow and touch on her HipHop flow before leading into Offset’s verse with her bridge vocals. Offset compliments this track as they clearly made a track that will force you to rock your body. Things slow down when we get to her song ‘If You Hate Me’, not only does she get deep as she taps into your feels, Kiana also makes this track real with the explicit words that bring out the emotions of this song. Continuing that sentimental slow vibe, with a touch of hurt, her track ‘Heavy’ plays perfect for you to sit back and overthink too. To make this track better you hear an outro to the song by Jennifer Lewis. This masterpiece of an EP ends with her track ‘Ex’ which we’ve heard and can not get enough of!

This EP is for the ages and really relates to day to day issues we face. Kiana delivers a very empowering perspective on each song she has, but the way she used her features she demonstrates how strong her creativity is.
