Powers Pleasant Comes Back With Joey BadA$$, Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice & The Under Achievers To Complete A BEASTCOAST Remix Of ‘Pull Up’
Not too long ago we were bumping ‘Pull Up‘ by Powers Pleasant featuring Joey BadA$$ & ASAP Ferg, but this time around we don’t see A$AP Ferg but the class of the Beast Coast. Powers Pleasant unites Joey BadaA$$, Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice & The Under Achievers to give a Beast Coast anthem.
Pro Era are represented through Powers Pleasant & Joey being two of the leading members, Juice & Meechy are out there representing Flatbush Zombies and AK The Savior & Issa Gold make up The Underachievers. This beat was blessed since we first heard it and it was created by Powers, but Joey doesn’t spit on this track he is the chorus which allows the other members of the Beast Coast to shine and represent. Meechy kicks off the first verse with dark lyricism and gut wrenching vocals that make any track 10x harder. Zombie Juice takes on after his fellow Zombie, their chemistry really displays on this track the way they compliment each other. Juice spits fast and hard blurring out some punchlines making you have to learn to keep up with his lyricism. AK The Savior is the first of The Underachievers to take over the track with a strong verse flexing and shaming soft headline grabbing rappers. Issa Gold goes last and it was very fitting rapping about the other Beast Coast rappers on the track, flexes and talks about how his style is impeccable.
This track is everything, of course I would like all the members of Pro Era Flatbush to join The Under Achievers, but this song is a blessing and very needed. Every HIP-HOP artist should be thankful these Beast Coast rappers don’t join forces more often and start flaming them off one by one. I am incredibly biased when it comes to these artist but give it a listen and you will be incredibly biased once you dig into their work.
