Jay Rock Goes Raw In New Album ‘Redemption’
Hip-Hop heads around the world should be excited and happy, Jay Rocks new album ‘Redemption‘ is one for the ages. Finally getting to listen to the whole album, I must admit this album is ruthless! As a fan of Hip-Hop, this album has everything i could ask for and more. The topics on these tracks are very real, easy to relate to and paint a vivid picture. One of the main examples of this is the track ‘ES Tales’, where Jay Rock spits about the projects and what you need to do to survive. The album will have you debating your inner ego as you listen along. The album consists of 13 tracks, with 5 features that are as prestigious as the 96′ Bulls, the album hosts SZA, Jeremih, Future, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.
After cutting the list short for my top 3, I realized all my favorite tracks didn’t include features. Cole and Kendrick killed their tracks, like kings should, but Jay Rocks emotions seemed to really show in his isolated tunes. That being said my top 3 are:

- Troopers
- For What It’s Worth
