Before the world was introduced to some of Canada’s most talented hip-hop artists, it was Kardinal Offishall who paved the way for Canadian rappers and hip-hop artists to emerge onto the scene which brought us artists such as Drake, The Weeknd, Nav and many more. Now, Kardinal Offishall makes his return with his new self-produced fire single ‘Run.’

‘Run’ is a bass-heavy, highly energetic track with an infectious hook, and gives us powerful lyrics such as “I ain’t never run from a fight and never will.” The single will also be featured on Kardinal’s forthcoming album titled ‘Pick Your Poison.’

The Toronto-native has always shown nothing but love for his city, “Toronto is alive and coming together in a way that we haven’t seen in decades,” Kardinal said in a statement to XMPL. “Run is a testament to those who have had to fight for much in life, but have never given up. It’s a fusion of different sounds, different eras, and different energies that all make sense to the globe, when heard together. This is Toronto. This is #RUN.”
