‘Run It Back’ (Freestyle) by Kirk Knight

Kirk Knight Releases New Single ‘Run It Back’

Kirk Knight released his new single ‘Run It Back‘ (Freestyle) & he BODDDIEEEED ITT!!! Not only is Kirk one of the most talented young producers, he is also versatile when he taps into his wordplay. On that “47 Shit”, Kirk was always one of the most stand out members of Pro Era, he always showed a unique style when spitting. When he dropped his project ‘Nyck @ Knight‘ with Nyck Caution, he really cemented his name as a producer in my book.

On this track you knew it was going to be a banger as soon as you heard “K-K-Kiiirrrkk Kneezy on the beat”. As soon as the beat starts to pick up Knight dives right in with shout out to Capital Steez and everything is fire from that point on. The track is only 2:40 minutes, but it will be on repeat as soon as you hit play. The production is out of this world, .48 sec – .55 sec is my favorite part on the beat. My favorite lyrics keep changing as I listen to this tune over & over again, but for the purpose of this article I’ll list one below.

“I was bad at math, still counting these blessings
I’m in my bag like I’m drawing my weapon
My first thought, never coming in second
I’m fighting this Jin off, you thought it was Tekken”

This is one of my personal favorite tunes of the year, it also shows me that Hip Hop is in great hands with leaders like Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies & Under Achievers. Give this track a listen as we wait for Kirk to drop his new album!
