For our 9th issue of XMPL, we worked on several collaborative photoshoots with locally renown makeup and tanning studio, Glow & Co. Studio, in Windsor ON. Owner and makeup artist, Ryann Beal shows off her creative skills in our latest magazine issue, through a vibrant pop pastel-theme shoot.
During our shoot, we also got the chance to catch up with Glow & Co. and talk about what she does at her studio. Read the interview below.

XMPL: How long ago did you start Glow & Co?
Ryann: So, I actually started Glow & Co. a little over a year and a half ago from home and due to the volume of clientele, I decided to expand into this studio.
What type of services do you offer?
We offer organic spray tanning, makeup, we specialize in bridal makeup and special events. We have laser hair removal and we have a brow specialist and a lash tech.
How long have you been doing makeup?
I’ve been doing makeup for a little over 4 years.
What originally got you inspired?
I was actually in university for criminology and throughout my university career, I was doing friends and family. And based on word of mouth, it took off from there.
What’s your favourite thing about doing makeup?
I like seeing the confidence shift towards the end. The confidence is everything to me, just to see my happy clients and models.
What are the top brands you find yourself using?
I find myself using a lot of Anastasia Beverly Hills, Morphe, Danessa Myricks, MAC definitely.
