[UPDATE: August 10th, 2022] Manifesto and Jazmine Sullivan have both announced that due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Jazmine Sullivan will no longer be performing at the festival. However, they have both announced that Manifesto will now be featuring world-renown Afrobeats heavyweight Davido.

Jazmine posted to her Instagram on August 10th, “This was a very difficult decision for me and I’m so sorry I can’t be there with you all. To my fans, please know I would never cancel a show unless it was absolutely necessary. I hope to be back in Toronto soon.” Davido also shared the announcement on his Instagram, “Ready for another unforgettable night with the most amazing fans in one of my favorite cities.”

Toronto’s upcoming Manifesto festival is ready to hit the Budweiser Stage on August 12th with it’s superstar headliners, Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan and OVO R&B duo dvsn.

Championing hip-hop and R&B since it was first founded in 2007, Manifesto has been known for further pushing arts and culture within Canada and continues to produce an incredible festival lineup that seamlessly blends both global and rising Northern talents together.

With this year being no different, Manifesto has gathered some tough Canadian talent to perform alongside some of today’s biggest acts. From R&B singer Amaal, to 2021 Juno-award winning rapper/singer TOBi, all the way over to performances from rising stars like 2022 Juno-nominated R&B singer Dylan SinclairPlanet Giza, and Zeina and more – this year’s lineup remains as promising as ever.

This year’s festival will be co-hosted by social media star and creative Tresor and Juno Award-winning rapper Charmaine. Manifesto Vol. 16 will also feature buzzing up-and-comers Fame Holiday, Benita, Tia Banks, DVBLM, Ray HMND and Vividd.

Manifesto will take place on August 8th-13th, with its main concert at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage taking place on August 12th. Other events presented during the festival include the FSTVL SZN artist showcase and The Summit, in collaboration with YouTube Music.
