‘7’ by David Guetta

David Guetta Releases 2 Disc Album ‘7’

It hasn’t even been a week since we talked about David Guetta getting back into his Jack Back alias, but following the mixtape ‘Jack Back‘, Guetta is back with his new album ‘7‘. This project has two discs and to make things easier for listeners, the second disc is the ‘Jack Back’ mixtape. The mixtape was amazing, but disc one is what will be scorching the charts & festivals. Disc one contains 15 songs & 22 heavy hitting features in Anne-Marie, Faouzia, Sia, Madison Beer, J Balvin, Bebe Rexha, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Willy William, Saweetie, Martin Garrix, Brooks, Justin Bieber, Jess Glynne, Stefflon Don, Steve Aoki, Lil Uzi Vert, G-Eazy, Mally Mall, Black Coffee, Delilah Montagu & Ava Max. Disc 2 has 12 tracks as Jack Back and hosts two features in CeCe Rogers & Chris Willis.

Disc one offers a more vibrant feel fit for any festival, radio or local get together. It has dance vibes, as we expect from Guetta, but the way he utilizes the ever growing Latin sounds on this project really caught my attention. The features all added their own strengths and talents to make this album a clear soon-to-be hit on the charts. Madison Beer & Bebe Rexha really highlighted how talented they are in collaborating with Guetta, and I think it really validated their growing momentum and hype.

Disc two was my favorite of the two. They both have great tracks, but like I stated on my ‘Jack Back‘ article, I really  enjoy that dark, shuffling, club-type sound. It was very reminiscent of old Guetta, and if I’m being completely honest, both discs have been on repeat. This project was what Guetta needed, it will feed the hunger of everybody in his fan base and more artists should take note!

My Top 3 tracks stood out very easily, make sure to let us know if your top tracks are different!
