Canadian Rapper Lyrique Drops New EP ‘Blank’ And Music Video For His Single ‘Rain’
Over the fall, Canadian-Filipino rapper Lyrique had dropped the video for his track ‘Ivory’ – highlighting memories of the summer over catchy hooks. Now, Lyrique returns with his highly anticipated new project, entitled ‘Blank‘ EP.
Growing up, Lyrique listened to many greats, ranging from T.I, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Paul Wall and more – which he channels through his new project for a club-inspired EP.
For this EP, Lyrique works with producers from around the globe to bring ‘Blank’ to life – working with BMTJ of Seoul, Korea, Kimbo of Hamburg, Germany, Novmber and Jack Marlow of London, United Kingdom. Lyrique also gets the featured assist from DJ C-SIK on his track ‘Slow Burn.’
With this new project also comes new visuals for Lyrique’s track ‘Rain‘. The music video was shot and directed by MOVISIONS STUDIOS. Inspiration for the video comes from the alley aesthetic of New York and California. Watch the music video for ‘Rain’ above.
The 4-track EP showcases Lyrique’s overall development and consistency, showing that with every drop – he keeps getting better and better.
