Last year was only the beginning for R&B singer and songwriter – Omar Kadir – as he walks into the New Year with over 3 million Spotify streams. From dropping his album ‘Sex, Love & Loyalty’ to collaborating with Canadian DJ Eva Shaw, and featuring on Prezi’s ‘Still In The Hood’ album for ‘How’d You Learn’ with Philthy Rich, it seems that with every music release, Omar only keeps getting better and better.
One of my favourite Omar Kadir releases of last year was ‘Villain’ featuring Australian singer Joey Djia, which included a Pop and Acoustic version of the song – both of which are fan favourites. In late October, Kadir also dropped the music video for the Acoustic version of the song and using the Pop version, hosted an exciting dance competition through his Instagram, where several talented dancers worldwide submitted their videos for a chance to win a cash prize.
