Summer 2025 was all about the link-ups.

Artists from every corner of the world collided this summer and gave us a soundtrack for a global block party. BTS’ j-hope and Memphis rapper GloRilla set the tone this summer with their banger, “Killin’ It Girl.” South Africa’s Tyla doubled down on the heat, dropping her collaboration “DYNAMITE” with Wizkid and sliding into a sexy crossover with LISA on “When I’m With You.” Tinashe flexed with Disco Lines on the remix to her track “No Broke Boys,” which continues to climb on the charts. Meanwhile, Brazil’s Ludmilla teamed up with Grammy-winner Victoria Monét on their new song, “CAM GIRL,” a long-awaited collaboration since their first linkup in 2023 at Fervo Da Lud.

The surprises went hard all summer long, with UMI and 6LACK’s moody “HARD TRUTHS,” Alemeda and Rachel Chinouriri’s dreamy alt-pop gem “Chameleon” to global girl group KATSEYE linking with Ice Spice on their viral “Gnarly” remix. Add in Raquel and NLE Choppa’s dancefloor heater, “LA LA LA” and Andye and Capella Grey’s smooth Toronto-vibe “My Type” and more… artists showed us that collaboration is king as they tore down borders and united their sounds – and their fanbases.
