Surprise Summer Drop By Young Thug, Travis Scott, and J.Cole
Young Thug has declared summer’s arrival with the surprise drop of his new track, ‘The London’ ft. Travis Scott and J.Cole and TRUST ME there’s nothing boring about it (in case you twitter bums were wondering). Thugger knew exactly what he was doing when he called up Travis and J.Cole for this one.
Highlights: Autotune Travis on the hook over 808’s will blow the speakers in your girlfriend’s 09 civic so be careful.
J.Cole takes the up the bulk of the song lyrically but we zoned out about 20 bars in. Flow still on point though.
Thugger sliding in off-beat is obviously the highlight of the track and reminds us why we love him in the first place. Turn the volume down before his verse though. High pitch Thugger feels like a soft left hook to the eardrums.
Each artist is coming off a 2018 drop: Cole’s ‘KOD’, Travis’ ‘Astroworld’, and Thug’s Slime Language, as well as Travis’ appearance on DJ Khaled’s most recent album ‘Father of Ashad’.
