Laye Drops New Single ‘dancing’

The sound of Canada has been raising the standard in recent years, with many sounds and diverse artists releasing projects that easily nest in your head after a couple of listens. Montreal’s very own laye, is one of the stand out artists, with her bold dark look and artistic style she also takes pride in boundless music. After seeing her release ‘no love lost’ earlier this year, she is back again with her latest single ‘dancing’.

Her new single is very soft spoken, with melodies and a very catchy chorus. Lyrically discussing getting played and the cycle of deception, laye really dwells on the memories of past relationships throughout the song. Feelings we can all relate to, but putting them into words i a different story. Very well written, really showing the growth and potential of this artist. Easily repeatable this track is a must add to your playlist.
